Blood Message, an upcoming triple-A single-player action-adventure game set in ancient China, unveiled a new trailer titled "Hold Till Dawn" during Summer Game Fest 2026.

Per NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment (also maker of Naraka Bladepoint), a part of NetEase's ThunderFire division, the cinematic and narrative-driven linear title is currently in development for PC and consoles.
Blood Message, NetEase's first AAA single-player game, blends harsh survival combat with rich Eastern storytelling and is powered by Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) and proprietary tools and technology. The teaser reveals the game's backstory and offers new landscape-based fighting mechanics.
In Blood Message, players play a nameless messenger on a dangerous eastward journey to deliver a message that would determine their homeland's fate.
The game's setting in the late Tang Dynasty, 848 AD, frames the tale with Chinese customs, culture, and history. To return to Chang'an, the heart of the Tang Dynasty, he and his son must survive enemy sieges and a 1,000-mile journey against all odds.
Players will cross desolate deserts and East and Central Asian wildernesses to survive violent sieges, hard terrain, and overwhelming enemies. The final loyalty story in the Great Tang is etched in the desert sands.
