The Esports Foundation (EF) has announced the conclusion of the global online regional qualifiers for the League of Legends (LoL) event at the Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026, which will debut in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 21 to 29.
The LoL tournament at ENC 2026 will include 32 teams. Last week, the ENC Rankings, which use points from Riot Games competitions, invited 16 teams from 16 countries and territories.
Online regional qualifiers in Asia, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East/Africa, Southeast Asia/Oceania, North America, and South America have added 14 more teams to the main tournament. Saudi Arabia earned the Wildcard - Host Region Slot as the next highest-placing host region team.
After the ENC qualifiers are complete, one Wildcard Solidarity spot for an underrepresented region to vie on the world stage will be announced at the end of August.
Below is the full list of countries and territories that qualified for LoL ENC 2026 through online regional qualifiers:
- Asia: Hong Kong (China), Mongolia
- Eastern Europe: Lithuania, Romania
- Western Europe: Germany, Belgium
- Middle East/Africa: Algeria, Tunisia
- North America: Mexico, Guatemala
- South America: Chile, Peru
- Southeast Asia/Oceania: New Zealand, Philippines
- Host Region Slot: Saudi Arabia
The Philippine Team qualified for the main event after a strong Southeast Asia/Oceania qualifier campaign.
After an upper bracket loss against New Zealand, the Filipino team defeated Malaysia, Australia, and Singapore in the lower bracket to claim one of the region's two qualification berths.
Representing the Philippines on the ENC 2026 League of Legends are:
- Relhia (Top Laner)
- Devoured (Jungler)
- Cherb (Mid Laner)
- Dawn (ADC)
- Cresho (Support)
- Leathergoods (Coach)
Despite a tough regional field, the Philippines qualified for the inaugural ENC. Philippine League of Legends esports will fight against the world's top national teams in Riyadh this November after qualifying.
The ENC LoL tournament starts on November 21 and ends with the grand finals on November 29, 2026.
The 24 teams in the Play-Ins stage will feature the invitees' 9-16th-ranked teams and all 16 teams from qualifiers in a double round-robin format. Two teams from each group will move to the main Group Stage to fight against the top eight invite teams in a single round-robin format. Then, the top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs, a single-elimination bracket with a best-of-five Grand Final.
With the Philippines among the qualified Play-In teams at LoL ENC 2026, I want to know if you're also impressed with their strong lower-bracket run in SEA/Oceania qualifiers. – PinoyTechSaga
