Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG), Moonton's auto battler mobile game, celebrates its first anniversary along with the launch of Season 6: Dawnlight Celebration.
In celebration of MCGG's year of development and success, the campaign says "thank you" to all the players and community. In-game events and awards will highlight the new Layla "Blue Spectre" MCGG skin.
Further, MCGG Rising Star (MRS) Crew Clash, a new tournament with a USD 50,000 prize pool, will encourage players to compete as Crews.
MCGG 1st Birthday Events and Rewards
You can get Layla "Blue Spectre" skin until June 21, 2026. Reimagined from a rare and early Mobile Legends skin, it honors the gamers and community who have influenced MCGG's year.
The Rainbow Flash event offers tasks to acquire event items, exchangeable for anniversary letters. You need to collect these from all thirty-six heroes to redeem the complete set of rewards, including "Blue Spectre" Layla skin, her painted skin, commemorative album, and one-year anniversary emote.
In the Anniversary Cake Chessboard event, players must match cards across four levels to advance. From June 10 to 21, participants who complete the event can receive one of four free chessboards designed to celebrate MCGG's first year and decorate the battlefield.
Season 6 MRS Crew Clash
Players have the opportunity to continue the festivities by winning a portion of the USD 50k prize pool in the MCGG Rising Star Crew Clash.
In order to accomplish missions, accumulate points, and ascend the rankings, players must collaborate as Crews. The most successful MRS Crews will receive the most substantial prizes.
More information is accessible on the official Magic Chess: Go Go Facebook post and event page.
A year abundant in milestones
MCGG had a great first year after its launch in May 2025 globally. In two weeks, the game reached 30 million downloads and won the 2025 Google Play Best Game Award in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. It also launched its first collaboration with THE KING OF FIGHTERS (KOF), the legendary fighting game franchise.
Further, MCGG has a vibrant community and a national, regional, and international esports ecosystem. After that growth, Floxy became the first GO1 World Champion in the game's inaugural offline global tournament.
Add to that, MCGG was the first mobile Auto Chess title at the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games (demo event) in December 2025. The milestone shows how the MCGG has expanded beyond gaming and esports to connect countries, communities, and players.
To avid MCGG players and fans, I would also like to know your thoughts on the game's 1st anniversary events and freebies. – PinoyTechSaga
