BaiSha Gaming (BS) have been crowned EWC 2026 CrossFire champions, completing a hard-fought lower-bracket run to finally claim the Esports World Cup title. The Chinese CF roster overcame the 2025 champions AG.AL and KINGZERO-eSports before defeating Team Liquid 3-0 in the grand final.
After clinching CrossFire Stars in 2022 and 2023, BS became one of the world's best CF teams, but in 2025, they lost the Esports World Cup final to fellow Chinese squad AG.AL, and a poor performance in CrossFire Stars 2025 led many to believe they were losing their touch.
However, BaiSha Gaming hushed the skeptics at the Esports World Cup 2026 by defeating 2025 champs AG.AL and their grand final rival Team Liquid to once again become the best CrossFire squad in the world. BS took home the grand prize of USD 750k from the USD 2M prize pool as well as 1000 EWC Club Points.
BaiSha Gaming, China's first seed, lost early in the group stage at EWC 2026. They rallied and reached the playoffs, where they met AG AL, the defending EWC victors. BaiSha defeated them 2-1 before defeating KINGZERO-eSports 3-1 en route to the grand final versus Team Liquid. In the grand final, BaiSha dominated and defeated their opponents, a clean sweep 3-0.
Wang "N9" Hao has remarked that the EWC 2026 championship is the only trophy he doesn't have, but after sweeping Team Liquid in grand finals, he can now add it to his CrossFire cabinet and cement his legend status.
N9, at 17, began competing in CrossFire Stars in 2015 and won his first in 2016. Many consider him the best CrossFire player of all time due to his laser-sharp, accurate aim and CrossFire Stars triumphs (2017, 2022, and 2023). He won the only trophy he's never won in competitive CrossFire with this EWC win.
BaiSha Gaming's N9 was also given the title of Sony MVP, which resulted in an additional USD 25,000, in recognition of his exceptional leadership during the tournament.
Meanwhile, Team Stallions from the Philippines secured another top-four finish at EWC 2026, matching their fourth-place result from 2025.
KINGZERO-eSports defeated Team Stallions 3-0 in the third-place match before the grand finals. Team Stallions' loss meant a fourth-place finish for the second year straight, maintaining their EWC 2026 streak. The Filipino squad defeated ROC Esports and Evolution Power to enter the semifinals, where they forced Team Liquid to overtime before losing. Team Stallions earned USD 130k (roughly PHP 8M) and 300 Club Points after a tough run.
