The Honor of Kings World Cup (KWC) at Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 ended with Kuaishou Gaming (KSG) from China winning a closely fought grand final and taking home the lion's share of the USD 3 million prize pool.
The tournament marked a milestone for Honor of Kings esports, bringing HOK and Arena of Valor (AOV) teams together at the Esports World Cup for the first time, as the 2026 esports season enters its action-packed second half.
The championship that was extended to the ultimate battle was won by KSG with a 4-3 victory against fellow Chinese team AG.AL (KWC 2025 champs).
In the Grand Final, KSG jungler JuHao delivered an exceptional performance, earning him the title of FMVP.
Meanwhile, Geekay Esports from Malaysia defeated ROC Esports 3-0 in the third-place match.
Honor of Kings expanded its competitive ecosystem in the first half of 2026, giving players at every level greater possibilities. The season began with NOVA Esports clinching the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 (KIS4) title, and HYVE All Star winning the Women's Series 3 (KWS3) following a strong tournament run.
Ahead is a packed global esports calendar, including the Asian Games 2026, Esports Nations Cup, and the Honor of Kings International Championship 2026 (KIC2026).
Regional leagues return for the Fall season, including Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL), alongside leagues in Malaysia, the Philippines, Brazil, and other markets.
Honor of Kings Women's Series 4 will run from September to October, followed by the KWS4 World Championship in December.
Grassroots esports continues to expand in the region, with the HOK Campus Series running from August to October.
