Moonton has announced that the crossover event between Mobile Legends and the famous Transformers franchise will launch on August 24, 2021. The collaboration will bring crossover skins and a special limited-time event.
Mobile Legends also released the MLBB x Transformers cinematic trailer dubbed “Legends of Two Worlds.”
In the video trailer, it can be seen that the Transformers are clashing with the MLBB heroes Granger, Johnson, and X.Borg here in the Land of Dawn. X.Borg was on the side of Decepticons led by Megatron, while Johnson and Granger are fighting together with Autobots’ Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.
More details about MLBB’s upcoming Transformers collaboration are expected to be published soon.
Players can expect themed in-game events to go along with the hero skins like its previous collaborations, such as Mobile Legends x Star Wars.
MLBB has a history of exclusive partnerships with other prominent video games, media, and figures, including the collaboration with the legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao. The game released a skin of Manny Pacquiao for MLBB hero Paquito.
For the uninitiated, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is a 5v5 mobile MOBA game developed and published by Moonton. The game features two teams composed of five players in a PvP (player versus player) battle, with both teams defending their own base. The players control a character, known as a “heroes,” with unique abilities and differing play styles.
Meanwhile, Transformers is a series of American sci-fi action films based on the Transformers franchise. Its popular films include Transformers (2007), Revenge of the Fallen (2009), Dark of the Moon (2011), Age of Extinction (2014), and The Last Knight (2017).
