Garena has launched Free Fire MAX globally on both the Google Play and iOS App stores. Garena Free Fire MAX is a standalone mobile application that will offer the same Free Fire gameplay with enhanced specifications. Players can take advantage of features exclusive to Free Fire MAX, such as more realistic maps and a more immersive gameplay experience.
Craftland – Create and play in your own custom maps
Craftland is an exclusive feature to Free Fire MAX that enables players to create their own maps and share them with their friends. Players can get creative and design their maps, including various objects, buildings, structures, and decorations, for a more social and enjoyable experience with friends.
Completed maps can be played by players of both Free Fire and Free Fire MAX, and players can share their custom maps for others to host. Additionally, players can support the creators by liking, subscribing, and sharing their favorite maps.
More realistic maps
Free Fire MAX features enhanced graphics, enabling players to appreciate their favorite maps’ finer details. Moreover, map effects have been included to provide a more realistic in-game experience. This includes added effects across water bodies, safe zones, and even natural surroundings – players can even shoot at trees to see leaves fall to the ground.
Bermuda MAX will also be added as a new map to Free Fire MAX. Bermuda MAX distinguishes itself through its attention to detail. Bermuda MAX features a redesigned Clocktower and Factory area, with added detail to the interior and exterior structures.
More immersive gameplay experience
Free Fire MAX includes visual and audio updates that allow players to immerse themselves further into the Free Fire experience.
Basic movement animations – such as running, jumping, and crawling – have been enhanced to create a more fluid and realistic experience. Furthermore, special animations have been added for when players consume mushrooms and parachute into the map.
Weapons in Free Fire MAX have also been revamped. Weapon reloading animations have been reworked, and sound effects have been updated to add realism. Additionally, Free Fire MAX now includes tracer and bullet hole effects. Weapons now have added tracer effects, and bullet holes will appear on walls and certain structures throughout the map. Since tracer effects will only be visible from the player’s perspective, Free Fire MAX players will receive no additional advantage.
Interoperability between Free Fire MAX and Free Fire
Free Fire MAX is supported by Firelink technology, a proprietary technology developed by Free Fire that enables seamless interoperability between Free Fire MAX and Free Fire. This enables players to:
- Use their same existing Free Fire account to log in to Free Fire MAX.
- Sync all accounts data – including account progress and game items – across both applications.
- Play all game modes with all Free Fire players, regardless of the application that they use.
