Indie game studio Poisonous Mushroom has launched Legion Defense on the PC platform via Steam. The free-to-play PvEvP TD game features a unique mix of Tower Defense and KOF Mode. Check out more details below.
Legion Defense: Game Overview
In this turn-based tower defense strategy game, players will protect Crystal and the King from challenging enemies. You can command a variety of heroes and choose from 45 types of mercenaries to help you as the rounds go on.
Expect random events and use various Blessings and School Cards that can boost your Bond Level, adding excitement and surprise to the game.
Legion Defense: Game Features
Innovative Gameplay
Your two allies will be teleported to the King area as support after you successfully defend your combat zones. When facing a wave of Minions and Elites, focus on outsmarting your opponents instead of dwelling on mistakes. The most important task is to use your Economic assets efficiently; prioritize spending Gold on School Cards and Crystal on Mercenaries.
KOF Mode
When the game reaches the 18th round, the 3vs3 KOF mode begins. Your allies will join you at the same time and space. You will enter a legendary arena set up by your faction. Use your skills and strategies to compete against your enemies. Will you defeat all the opponents as Player 1 or help turn the game around as Players 2 and 3? The choice is yours.
Free-To-Play
Legion Defense provides a fair gaming experience without forced in-game purchases. The game features impressive visuals and allows players to focus on clicking the interface instead of quick, repetitive actions. There is hardly any Value Item in the game, which helps create more balanced matches for all players.
Made By Indie Game Developers
Poisonous Mushroom is a studio composed of three passionate fans of Legion TD. They created this unique game from the ground up. They got the idea to combine Legion TD with KOF mode. The three developers worked hard and used Y3 Editor, a user-generated content (UGC) game development software comparable to Roblox, as technical assistance. After four months of effort, Legion Defense was completed.
