According to a recent survey done in the Philippines by an international market research firm, Globe has emerged as the preferred telecommunications provider among Filipinos.
Here are the results of The Method Research August 2021 Philippines pulse poll for the favorite telco network (overall):
1. Globe – 36.1%
2. Smart – 22.5%
3. Talk N’ Text – 13.5%
4. PLDT – 12.6%
5. TM – 11.1%
6. DITO – 4.2%
Globe also led the charts in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao:
Luzon – 38.4%
Visayas -36.9%
Mindanao – 31.3%
The survey was conducted among Filipinos aged 18 and above, with total respondents of 1045. Female respondents made up 65.4 percent of the sample, while male respondents made up 34.6 percent. Over half of respondents (51.1%) were from Luzon, 28.4 percent from Mindanao, and 20.5 percent from Visayas.
The study asked respondents about their preferred consumer brands, spending behavior, media consumption, and perception of the country’s current situation.
