K-pop group Aespa to perform at Wild Rift SEA Championship Grand Finals
The grand finals of League of Legends: Wild Rift Southeast Asia (SEA) Championship 2021 will take place on October 3. Riot Games has teased that the famous K-pop girl group Aespa will be performing at the opening ceremony.
The Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021 is part of Riot Games’ official League of Legends: Wild Rift mobile esports circuit in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Aespa is a girl group from South Korea formed by SM Entertainment. The group, consisting of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning, released their debut single “Black Mamba” on November 17, 2020.
The K-pop group is currently atop the global music charts with their latest single, “Next Level.” Moreover, Aespa is set to release their first mini-album comprising six songs on October 5. The album and the lead single are called “Savage.”
According to Riot Games, Aespa will be performing “Next Level” at the grand finals of Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021.
On the other hand, the grand finals will see eight teams battle it out to claim the champion title. The playoffs will start on September 30 and will end on October 3.

The top two squads in the region will earn a spot in Wild Rift’s biggest tournament, Wild Rift: Horizon Cup 2021, which will take place from November 13 to 21.
