Mobile Legends M3 World Championship sets $800K prize pool
Moonton has revealed that the prize pool for the upcoming M3 World Championship is USD 800,000.
Based on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Instagram post, the M3 World Championship’s prize pool has significantly grown compared to previous Mobile Legends World Championships.
The prize pool distributed in M2 World Championship was USD 300,000. The said tournament was held in Singapore, with the Philippines’ BREN Esports declared champions. The squad bagged the largest share of USD 140,000.
Meanwhile, the first Mobile Legends major tournament, M1 World Championship, had featured USD 250,000. Grand Finals winners EVOS Legends from Indonesia received USD 80,000 from the prize pool.
M3 World Championship will be bigger than before
The M3 World Championship will feature 16 teams globally. Teams will qualify for the M3 World Championship in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, and Brazil via the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL).
Moreover, non-MPL teams will have a chance to compete, as the M3 Arabia Major has a direct invite for the Middle East’s winning team.
Recently, Moonton has announced the M3 World Championship North American Qualifier 2021, in which the winner will earn a spot in M3 Worlds.
