TNC to release Dota 2 roster as free agents
TNC Predator has announced that they will be releasing their Dota 2 roster as free agents on September 15, 2021, after the team had failed to qualify for The International 10 (TI10).
According to TNC Pro Team’s Facebook post, it would release its entire roster for them to grow as individuals.
“The organization and its players have discussed in terms of individual growth and have come to an agreement that this would be the best decision moving forward,” said Philippines-based esports organization TNC Pro Team.
TNC was composed of Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte, Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios, Timothy “Tims” Randrup, Jun “Bok” Kanehara, and Marvin “Boomy” Rushton.
Of the five, Tims is the longest-time member who joined the team in 2016. Meanwhile, Armel and Gabbi joined in 2018. The latest members are Bok and Boomy, joining the squad just this year.
In July 2021, in the grand finals of the Southeast Asia Qualifier, TNC experienced a reverse sweep from team Fnatic.
After the team suffered a loss, TNC said the squad would ‘recharge and realign’ for the next season of The International.
With the entire TNC Dota 2 roster being free agents, they are expected to join other teams in the Southeast Asian region soon.
