Valorant has rolled out the game’s newest update, complete with patch notes. This minor update brings some changes to the game’s progression, store, report systems, and esports features. There are also performance updates and bug fixes. The following are the three most notable changes in Valorant Patch 3.08.
Level Borders
As with the skin levels, players can now choose which of the level borders to use. This can be changed in the collection’s player card section. Again, if not manually selected, it will default to the highest earned, but players can now customize their level border to a lower level if they prefer the design.
Skin Levels
Each skin purchase now includes the option to equip a level. It is greatly beneficial for anyone who upgraded the Prime Karambit. Players can now downgrade and upgrade their skins freely. If no manual selection is made, each skin will default to the highest purchased upgrade.
Coach Mode
The role of a coach in a private Valorant game has been minimal, but this update makes significant progress toward improving that. Coaches can now swap between players with key binds 1 to 5 from left to right across the HUD. They can also quickly identify which players are where on the map at any given time through the Picture-In-Picture feature. Lastly, they will be able to view a player’s key binds on the map.
Other highlights of Valorant Patch 3.08

- In Left Hand Mode, the valves on Viper’s gloves now appear on the correct side of her hands.
