Globe has announced that its Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) and Voice Over WiFi (VoWiFi) capabilities will be available to more Postpaid users as these technologies roll out to more areas nationwide.
The telco said that using VoLTE and VoWiFi services would ensure users can make and take uninterrupted calls during emergencies.
By activating VoWiFi in their mobile phones, Globe Postpaid subscribers can improve their calls when they face poor indoor signal reception. Moreover, they have access to better quality calls and faster call connection time.
VoWiFi, also called WiFi calling, amplifies network coverage in areas with poor signal quality, making calls through WiFi instead of a 3G/LTE network.
On the other hand, VoLTE can provide high-definition voice calls while users are gaming, streaming, or browsing over the LTE network.
