Garena has announced that its tournaments — the Free Fire Asia Championships (FFAC) 2021 and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Invitational 2021 — scheduled for November 2021 will be fully virtual.
Fans of Free Fire worldwide can look forward to an intense showcase of battles in November, as more local teams compete for two coveted titles.
Garena’s FFAC 2021 and EMEA Invitational 2021 will provide an opportunity for teams from Asia and Europe to compete for regional titles, continuing its efforts to engage fans with competitive and professional esports content. Both tournaments offer squads an opportunity to establish themselves as the region’s best and demonstrate their readiness for the world arena.

The Asian Championship 2021 will pit 31 teams representing seven Asian regions, while the EMEA Invitational will feature 12 teams representing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Both the Group Stage and Preliminaries of FFAC 2021 and EMEA Invitational 2021 will take place over two days, from November 20 to November 21, 2021, with the Finals taking place on November 28 for FFAC 2021 and November 27 for EMEA Invitational 2021.
Both tournaments will be identical in format. Squads will compete in the Group Stage and Preliminaries over six rounds on three maps: Bermuda, Kalahari, and Purgatory, with points awarded based on round ranking and kill total. The Finals will feature seven rounds of competition, with the final map being chosen at random.
