miHoYo has revealed that Honkai Impact 3rd 5.2 Update is set to release on October 21, 2021. The version 5.2 update dubbed “Infinite Future” brings two new battlesuits, new weapons, a new event, and more content.
Two New Battlesuits
The latest patch will add two new battlesuits, including Raven’s “Midnight Absinthe” and Mobius’s “Infinite Ouroboros.”
Raven has been a focal point of the story as a World Serpent agent, former ace mercenary, and Stan Wars winner. As the first IMG-type A-rank battlesuit, “Midnight Absinthe,” Raven will play a different yet equally vital role on the battlefield. The IMG-type is neither superior nor inferior to the BIO, PSY, or MECH types. Rather than that, it opposes other IMG-type units and is opposed by QUA-type.
Moreover, Raven uses archery and martial arts to fight, and her special mechanic enables her to gain buffs and SP by collecting feather items dropped by her Basic ATK, passive, and QTE. She can also heal herself by collecting Bounty Coins dropped by defeated enemies.
Mobius, the Flame-Chaser who possesses the Signet of Infinity, will make his battlesuit debut as the S-rank “Infinite Ouroboros.” Her special mechanic enables her to chain each Special ATK sequence into an enhanced Basic ATK that is simple to execute and does not require quick reflexes.
New Chapter: The Birth of Tragedy
The upcoming chapter will contain a major plot twist. To the surprise of everyone, Overseer Otto is departing Schicksal and the power and wealth it has accumulated over the centuries. Is this another ploy, or is it the price he must pay to fulfill a lifelong ambition? Players will investigate the Open World of Schicksal’s former headquarters, Kolosten, to discover the truth. Perhaps they will also learn about Otto’s dark secrets and tragic backstory.
New Weapons and Stigma Sets
Players can get the new weapons and stigma sets designed for Mobius and Raven.
New ELF
The new ELF Klein will debut as a Lightning DPS and support, whose switch CD reduction and Lightning Vulnerability attack will undoubtedly make her a valuable asset in the Arena and Abyss.
New Event: Valkyries’ Cafeteria
Players can clear stages in the upcoming featured event to gather ingredients and cook gourmet food to unlock rewards and snippets.
Honkai Impact 3rd is available for PC and mobile devices, and its 5.2 update is expected to release on October 21, 2021.
