JTBC revealed 'Snowdrop' first official trailer
South Korean pay-TV network JTBC has released the first official trailer for its upcoming drama series, “Snowdrop,” starring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Jung Hae In.
As seen in the nearly 30-second video trailer, it reveals the setting of Hosoo Women’s University in 1987, followed by a scene where Su Ho (played by Hae In) bikes around in the snow, and we can then hear his voiceover, saying, “I’m sorry. It’s because of me.” (in Korean)
After that, Su Ho bumped into Young Ro (played by Kim Jisoo) inside a shop stuffed with books. The teaser concludes with Young Ro’s voice saying, “I miss you. I wish I could see you just once” (in Korean), and she is seen grasping Su Ho’s sleeve.
“Snowdrop” is set in 1987, when a dictatorial government governed South Korea. It revolves around the story of Su Ho, a student who rushes into a female dorm room covered in blood, and Young Ro, a cheerful nursing student who hides him and takes care of his wounds. They develop a romantic relationship.
Snowdrop will also cast Yoo In Na, Jang Seung Jo, Kim Hye Yoon, Yoon Se Ah, and Jung Yoo Jin.
The 16-episode Korean drama series is set to premiere in December 2021. It will also be available for streaming in select countries through Disney Plus.
