Blizzard Entertainment has announced The Great Push Season 2, World of Warcraft’s second dungeon one-off tournament. The Great Push Season 2 will take place from December 10-12, 2021, with livesteam broadcast on YouTube and Twitch. It will feature a USD 20,000 total prize pool.
This competition will look beyond the standard formats of the Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) to see how Blizzard can expand PVE Competition. World of Warcraft players interested in competing in The Great Push Season 2 can register via Gamebattles until November 29.
How WoW’s The Great Push Season 2 Works?
Each team will have five members. They will compete in the Proving Grounds phase first, which will run from December 3 to 5. World of Warcraft squads will receive two keystone combinations to help them advance as far as possible within the tournament realm during this initial qualifier phase.
Following that, the top six teams will be invited to the main competition, which will take place between December 10 and 12. Dungeons from the Shadowlands and Legion expansions will be featured in this event. Squads will have the opportunity to prove their skills by pushing keystones as high as possible.
On the first day, four World of Warcraft dungeons will be revealed. On the second day, another dungeon will be revealed. The final dungeon will be unveiled on the third day.
The bottom team will be eliminated at the end of each day, leaving four teams to compete for the third day. The World of Warcraft team with the highest cumulative score will claim the title and the lion’s share of the USD 20,000 prize pool.

MDI Global Finals 2021
While fans anticipate WoW’s The Great Push Season 2, they can also tune in to the Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) Global Finals, which will take place from October 29 to October 31 and will feature a USD 300,000 prize pool.
