

Internet service provider Converge ICT had confirmed a major service outage on November 20, 2021. The telco successfully fixed the connectivity issues around 2 hours.
In a statement, Converge said its customers might experience “connectivity issues” that started at 12:12 PM. Moreover, it added that their technical team was “working to resolve the issue” and “a service ticket is not required.”
The internet services were restored by 2:40 PM, Converge said in its following statement. “We are glad to report that our connectivity issues at 12:12 PM of November 20, 2021 have been fully resolved at 2:40 PM of November 20, 2021,” the post read.
According to Downdetector, a website that monitors service outages, subscribers in Metro Manila, Angeles City (Pampanga), Baguio, and Naga (Camarines Sur) have reported outages.
The platform’s most reports were at 12:30 PM, where 2,662 submitted reports indicated that Converge is down.
Converge has advised subscribers to keep an eye out for updates on the provider’s social media platforms and has requested their patience and understanding.
