Spotify has launched its annual Spotify Wrapped campaign, allowing its users to view the summary of their listening habits this year, from January 1 to October 31. In addition, Spotify Wrapped 2021 ranked the most-streamed songs and artists locally and globally.
In the Philippines, Zack Tabudlo’s song “Binibini” took the top spot on Spotify’s most-streamed song for 2021, the audio streaming service said in a statement. The Spotify RADAR Philippines artist currently has 3.1 million monthly listeners and released his debut album in mid-October.
Meanwhile, other songs that entered the top 5 most streamed songs in the country are BTS’ “Butter,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “driver’s license,” Pink Sweat$’s “At My Worst,” and Bruno Mars’ “Leave the Door Open.”
Ben&Ben claimed the top-streamed local artist for two straight years, followed by Moira Dela Torre, Skusta Clee, Zack Tabudlo, and Arthur Nery.
When it comes to K-pop, global sensation BTS emerged as the top streamed K-pop artist in the Philippines, followed by TWICE, BLACKPINK, IU, and SEVENTEEN.
The most popular podcasts in the Philippines are skypodcast, Sleeping Pill with Inka, Dear MOR: The Podcast, Boiling Water PH, and SUPERHUMAN with Will Dasovich.
Users’ personalized Spotify Wrapped features, such as 2021: The Movie, Your Audio Aura, Playing Cars, and Wrapped 2021: Blend, are available via the Spotify app.
Moreover, Spotify users will be able to access and share their personalized Listener Wrapped experiences through social media.
