Philippine esports team Sibol has announced the teams advancing to Phase 2 of Mobile Legends qualifiers.
The teams that secured their spots for the second phase of national team selection are Bren Esports, RSG PH, Origen Esports, and El Ganador Esports.
M2 World champs Bren Esports has eliminated Sensei Gang, BigBang Esports, and Cerebrum Pro to punch their ticket in the second phase.
Meanwhile, RSG PH stunned CrowZero Esports, ECHO, and Monster Anarchy to earn a slot for the playoffs.
The top four teams from Phase 1 will join directly invited squads Blacklist International, Nexplay EVOS, Omega Esports, and Onic PH in the playoffs.
A total of 8 teams will face off in Phase 2 or the playoff stage of qualifiers, slated for January 27-30, 2022.
The winner of the MLBB qualifiers will represent the Philippines in the biennial regional multi-sport event.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is one of the eight esports titles to be played in the 31st SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, which will take place in May 2022.
National esports team Sibol will be recruiting teams for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Wild Rift (men’s and women’s division), and CrossFire.
