Team Sibol has revealed the top 8 teams advancing to Phase 2 of its Wild Rift qualifiers.
Liyab Esports, Nigma Galaxy, LF Adoption, and GIGA qualified for the second phase with similar 3-0 records in Phase 1.
Meanwhile, Kosa Nostra, GrindSky Esports, and Fervent Esports earned their slots by defeating DCR in the battle for fifth and sixth place.
The seven teams from Phase 1 of qualifiers will join lone direct invited squad Fennel Adversity in Phase 2, the playoff stage.
The playoffs will run from January 27 to 30, 2022. The winning team will represent the Philippines in the biennial regional multi-sport event.
League of Legends: Wild Rift is one of the eight esports titles to be featured in the 31st SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, which will be held in May 2022.
National esports team Sibol will be fielding in squads for Wild Rift (men’s and women’s division), Mobile Legends, and CrossFire.
Riot Games previously announced that the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship would take place in the summer. Meanwhile, the Wild Rift Championship SEA playoffs begin in the first week of April.
