CoD Vanguard, Warzone update brings new Filipino Operator Isabella Reyes
The Vanguard update was released on January 11 (9 PM PT) / January 12 (1 PM GMT+8), while the Warzone Pacific update was rolled out on January 12 (9 PM PT) / January 13 (1 PM GMT+8). These prepared both games for the first full day of Season One’s midseason update on January 13 (9 AM PT) / January 14 (1 AM GMT+8).
CoD Vanguard and Warzone - Welgun SMG
The Welgun is expected to be Isabella’s favorite weapon. It is described as “full-auto SMG with lethality and range for short- to medium-range engagements.”
According to Call of Duty, the .380 and .25 ACP magazine attachments can either transform the gun into a “powerful three-to-two shot machine” or a “faster-firing and more accurate weapon,” respectively.
Unlocking the Welgun requires either the Reserved Steel Weapon Blueprint or completing the appropriate in-game challenge.
CoD Vanguard and Warzone - Isabella Reyes
Meanwhile, Isabella Rosario Dulnuan Reyes is the final Operator on Task Force 006 Trident, coming at the end of Season One.
The plot of Isabella goes like this. Born in 1923 in the Commonwealth of the Philippines, Isabella was trained in martial arts, specifically Arnis, by her father when she was a young girl. Following her father’s death, she honed her skills against those who pushed her into local resistance or the Hukbalahap.
Immediately after the war, Isabella joined Trident alongside Francis and Lewis to unravel Caldera’s mysteries, serving as the close-quarters battle (CQB) specialist with exceptional proficiency with a new weapon for the Vanguard arsenal.
