The first-person shooter game CrossFire or CF, billed as the world’s most-played video game by player count, is a famous title in Asia, especially in China and South Korea, where the game was first released. Meanwhile, CF was launched in the Philippines in 2009. Since then, the PC title has become one of the top PC games in the country.
Sibol will also hold qualifiers for three esports titles, including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, CrossFire, and League of Legends: Wild Rift (men’s and women’s division). On the other hand, the top teams in the PUBG Mobile Pro League Season 5 will be in consideration for the national esports team.
According to Sibol, Phase 1 is an open qualifier to teams outside the professional league. Phase 2 is the playoffs stage, where the top eight teams will face against each other in which the Grand Champion will be chosen as the representative.
