NetEase Games’ space strategy game Infinite Lagrange has released its major update, bringing new game content.
Players will be able to sign the Data Rescue Agreement, discover the new contract galaxy, and unearth valuable assets buried within.
The background story of the new update goes like this. The galaxies explored this time were previously abandoned during the “Second Candidate” Planet transformation experiments, which targeted abandoned galaxies due to stellar storms. And a great deal of experimental data has been permanently buried in these galaxies. As a result, the consortium’s management has issued a Data Rescue Agreement outlining three points to keep in mind throughout the data rescue period.
Data Rescue
Experiments on the planet are partially buried in abandoned experimental facilities that are also the focus of major research institutions. Thus, after signing the agreement, players must dispatch temporary fleets to the buildings to collect experimental data and transport it to the Stargate or the alliance-occupied cities for preservation. Each alliance’s final star rating will be determined by the amount of experimental data collected.
When the system is evaluated, experimental data transported directly to the Stargate by alliance members will be registered under the alliance name. In contrast, data stored in allied cities will be transported to the Stargate. Additionally, if the ownership of a city changes, the data stored in the city is lost.
Stellar Storm
Some stars remain active due to the “Space Warping Reverberation,” and radiation intensity varies frequently. Particle flow outbursts occur infrequently, and the radiation area could almost cover the galaxy. Frigates and destroyers in the particle flow region, as well as buildings in the jet zone, will be attacked.
As planets create a shielding effect, blocking the radiation from stars and forming a safe zone alongside the jet zone, they create a safe zone behind them. As a result, players must enter the safety zone behind planets to seek refuge prior to the outbreak.
Explore in the Ruins
There are numerous abandoned cities and battlefields throughout the galaxy due to stellar storms. Between stellar storms, players can go exploring and collect various valuable materials. The players can collect various kinds of ruins, but NPCs also guard these materials. Players can only obtain this material if they defeat the NPCs, but they must also be cautious of the privateers in their vicinity.
