Three teams remained in the 2022 Sibol Mobile Legends National Team Selection after three other squads were eliminated on Day 3 of tryouts, broadcasted live on the official Sibol Facebook Page.
The MLBB teams that reached Day 4 of Sibol qualifiers are Blacklist International, RSG Philippines, and Nexplay Evos. With the finals slot secured after defeating RSG in the upper bracket, Blacklist will take on the winner between RSG and Nexplay.
Onic PH opened the day with a 2-0 victory against M2 World champs Bren Esports in the lower bracket. Onic PH then has another match in the 3rd round of the lower bracket while Bren exits the qualifiers.
Meanwhile, in the upper bracket semis, reigning MLBB World champs Blacklist International swept RSG PH, 3-0, sending the squad to the 4th round of the lower bracket.
In the third round of the lower bracket clash, Nexplay crashed Onic PH, 3-2. Nexplay advanced to the 4th round of the lower bracket while Onic PH was eliminated in the competition.
The 4th round of the lower bracket (lower bracket finals), scheduled for January 30, will pit Nexplay Evos and RSG PH, with the winner facing Blacklist International in the grand finals.
