Valorant’s latest Turkish agent, Fade, was revealed by Riot Games at VCT Masters Reykjavik (Stage 1) Grand Final on April 24, 2022. This new character is a lethal huntress who uses fear to perplex and terrify her opponents.
Fade will debut in Episode 4 Act 3 update on April 27, 2022, as the 20th agent to join the hero shooter game’s ever-growing roster of agents. The spooky character has the codename Bounty Hunter.
Fade is the fifth agent in the Initiator class, joining Sova, Breach, Skye, and KAY/O. With an ability kit loaded with vision and crowd control, the Turkish Initiator agent should be a priority pick for many players in solo queue and competitive play. Valorant Fade Abilities
Ability 1: Prowler (C)
Deploy a Prowler (a creature) that can follow trails or be controlled by moving your mouse. Upon reaching an opponent, they will be nearsighted for 3 seconds. Only 1 Prowler per Trail is allowed.
Ability 2: Seize (Q)
Equip and Fire an Orb (nightmare ink), which will stay in the air for a maximum of 1.5 seconds, and then drop to the ground. The ink will then explode, and opponents within the radius will be trapped, take damage and be deafened.
Ability 3: Haunt (E)
Equip and Fire an Orb, which will remain in the air and then plummet to the ground. After that, it will go back into the air and turn into an eye (a nightmarish entity). If enemies are caught in its line of sight, they will be revealed, and a trail debuff is applied.
Ultimate: NightFall (X)
Deploy a wave of dark mist (nightmare energy) that can traverse through walls. If the mist hits an opponent, they will be Deafened, Trailed, and Decayed.
Fade Gameplay
With the tactical tools she brings to a team’s composition, Fade serves as an intel. Whether she is assisting her team in scouting a potential attack site or defending against oncoming attackers, she has a plethora of tools at her disposal for gathering intelligence and revealing her rivals.
Her Prowler companion has the ability to sniff out adversaries, pounce on them, and use nearsight. Seize can bind an opponent to a specific location, while Haunt can reveal the location of foes caught in its line of sight. In general, she’ll be a nightmare to deal with when attempting to remain concealed from an opponent’s vision.
