While the 20 teams that have qualified for the VCT Challengers APAC Playoffs begin competing for a spot at Masters 2 in July, other teams that have not qualified for Playoffs have the chance to earn enough VCT Circuit points to qualify for Champions via the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).
Last Chance Qualifier is held simultaneously in five different regions: North America (NA), Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA), Brazil/Latin America (BR/LATAM), Asia Pacific (APAC), and East Asia (EA).
From August 1 to 7, the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifier will take place. The event will give the top nine teams from Southeast Asia and South Asia that have amassed the most Circuit points across Challengers and Masters, as well as one team from Oceania, the opportunity to compete for the last available seat at Champions, the end-of-year final where the Valorant World Champion will be crowned.
From September 2 to 18, VCT Champions will take place in Istanbul, Turkey. The competition will feature the top sixteen teams from around the globe, including three from the APAC region. Two of the three representatives will have accumulated the most points in both Challengers and Masters. Through the APAC LCQ, the final team will earn the last available spot.
The ten teams that qualify for the APAC LCQ will be seeded into two brackets and will compete in a series of double elimination matches. Teams will be seeded based on their position in the VCT standings.
Teams that qualify for the APAC LCQ will be announced closer to the competition date. Stay tuned because there is much more to come.
