The official price tag of the Nothing Phone 1 smartphone in the Philippines has been revealed.
For those unaware, Nothing Phone 1 is the first-ever smartphone from Nothing—a new company led by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei—and only the firm’s second product overall, following the Ear 1 wireless earbuds release.
The device features a 100% recycled aluminum frame, a 6.55-inch 1080×2400 flat 120Hz OLED touchscreen with 1,200 nits peak brightness, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and symmetrical bezels on all four sides.
Further, Nothing Phone 1 is powered by the 6nm 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G octa-core processor. For the cameras, it got a dual rear camera system with a 50 MP f/1.9 Sony IMX766 1/1.56″ primary sensor with optical image stabilization and a 50 MP f/2.2 Samsung JN1 1/2.76″ ultrawide lens with a 114-degree field-of-view. On the opposite side, embedded in the display’s punch-hole, is a 16 MP Sony IMX471 selfie camera.
The handset runs Nothing OS (1), based on Android 12. The reliability of the software is essential; thus, there is no heavy skin, and it is guaranteed to be free of bloatware. The Europe-based mobile brand also ensures three years of Android upgrades and four years of security updates every two months.
For the battery, Phone 1 packs a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging (completing a full charge in 70 minutes), 15W wireless charging (full charge in 120 minutes), and 5W reverse wireless charging.
The premium mid-ranger also boasts a unique look at the back, featuring a transparent cover with illuminating LED strips called “Glyph interface.”
Nothing Phone 1 will be available online at Commonwealth PH (commonwealth-ftgg.ph) with a limited release on July 18, 2022. Meanwhile, on August 1, it can be purchased on Digital Walker, Beyond the Box, and Lazada.
The official PH price of Nothing Phone 1 for each variant is as follows:
- Nothing Phone (1) 8GB+128GB – PHP 27,990
- Nothing Phone (1) 8GB+256GB – PHP 29,990
- Nothing Phone (1) 12GB+256GB – PHP 32,990
The Nothing Transparent case and tempered glass protector are also available for PHP 990 apiece.
