Genshin Impact anime concept trailer revealed

HoYoverse announced during the Genshin Impact Patch 3.1 livestream event that the company is teaming up with Japanese animation studio ufotable for a "long-term collaboration project" for a Genshin Impact anime. The livestream event showed a concept video trailer.

The three-minute concept trailer showed the art style, in-game enviroments, and atmosphere of the eventual anime. It also features Genshin Impact's two characters, the twins Lumine and Aether, standing hand-in-hand.

Moreover, the video provides a brief teaser. "Let's step into this vast magical world of adventure together," read the description. "The long-term collaboration project between Genshin Impact and ufotable has begun."

There's no estimated release date for this project, but Hoyoverse assures that it will not interfere with game development.

Ufotable is currently best known for its work on Demon Slayer, the hit anime with some of the industry's finest animation.

Meanwhile, Genshin Impact is among the most popular games released in 2020. The action role-playing game was inspired by anime from the start, requiring players to explore an open world in search of the Archons of the seven elements.

The open-world adventure RPG game is accessible on the PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5 thru the PlayStation Store, Android devices thru Google Play Store, iOS devices thru the App Store, and PC via the Epic Games Store or its official website (genshin.hoyoverse.com).
