Once Human now on Steam Wishlist, outs trailer, beta test info

Three months after its debut during IGN's Summer of Gaming, Once Human is back with an all-new PC beta test in November 2022 and a new gameplay trailer showcasing the development team's unique take on the New Weird genre. Additionally, the game is now available on Steam's wishlist.

Once Human, an upcoming sandbox survival game in the New Weird genre, comes with a striking visual aesthetic and a plethora of bizarre enemies to test players' mettle. As a Meta-human, the player must band together with other survivors to combat the Great Ones and reclaim the human world.

New Beta Test Coming in November 2022

Once Human just announced that a new PC beta test would launch in November. More information, including the period of testing, will be forthcoming via official social media sites.

This beta test's participants will be selected via a questionnaire that is currently available on the official Once Human website (https://ift.tt/YTQ0NKv) and on the following link (https://bit.ly/3wYkJdJ). If you like to be one of the earliest testers, you must pre-register and complete the questionnaire.

Second New Video Trailer

After its initial unveiling during IGN's Summer of Gaming, a second video trailer for Once Human has been released, revealing the game's survival sandbox features and striking visuals.


The production team looked headfirst into the New Weird genre when creating the Once Human game universe. From spooky in-game settings to the indefinable Great Ones and a fascinating backstory, this game allows players to fully immerse themselves in the New Weird.

The new video features real gameplay showcasing various regions of the game map, as well as derelict post-apocalyptic ruins and subterranean antiquities.

Additionally, you can explore a variety of climates and terrains teeming with aberrant monsters and the Great Ones.

For the official release, additional improvements, including more dramatic weather, a larger globe, and more terrible beasts, are still in the works.
