After deploying a government-led SIM registration assistance initiative to 30 areas in the first week of February, Globe added 15 more areas for its SIM registration booth deployment across the country this week.
According to Globe, this is part of their effort to reach as many customers as possible to get them registered by the April 26, 2023 deadline.
SIM card registration is open to everyone, especially seniors, persons with disabilities (PWDs), people who use basic/feature phones, and those who don't have access to the internet.

Earlier, Globe supported the first two rounds of SIM registration that were run by the government, and it has now started rolling out its own registration desks. Its online SIM registration platform is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to make things easier and give customers access to exclusive offers. It will also soon let SIM cards be registered through the GlobeOne app.
As of February 7, 2023, Globe has logged more than 12 million registered prepaid SIMs.
