Mobile Legends Jungle Guide: Heroes, Emblem, Rotation

One of the most important roles in Mobile Legends is the Jungle role, which involves clearing jungle camps and securing objectives to gain an advantage over the enemy team. Jungling allows a team to gain additional gold and experience by taking down jungle monsters located in between lanes.

Introduction to Jungling

Jungling means eliminating neutral monsters, which are creatures located between the lanes. The part of the map that is not a lane or a team's base is called the Jungle. This includes the river that runs through it. Junglers keep up with their laning teammates in terms of gold and XP by killing neutral monsters in the jungle. In a typical 5-on-5 game of Mobile Legends, there are four laners and one jungler (also known as "core") on each team.

The Imperial Sanctuary Map is the only place to see Jungle Creeps. In the early game, jungle creeps are very strong, so you need a jungler to get rid of them quickly. Both the top and bottom parts of the jungle are shared by the team. Some heroes are better at Jungling than others, like Assassin and Fighter. This is because they can deal a lot of damage early on to clear jungle camps and/or quickly gank (ambush) lanes.

Buff Priority

As a jungler, securing buff is crucial to level up. However, when reaching the mid/late game phase, your teammates may need it more than you. Check out below the buff priority guide.

Rotation

General rules & tips

  1. Do not clear any minion waves before the 5-minute mark, especially if there is no teammate in the lane.
  2. Always keep track of the time. Turtle is available from 2:00-8:00. Lord will always spawn after 8 minutes.
  3. Always take note of the spawn time indicators (buffs/lithowanderer/lord/turtle) in the minimap.

Mobile Legends - Jungle - Farming Rotation

Early game rotation (0:00-5:00 minutes)

  • a) If Lithowanderer spawns near the Top lane.
  • b) If Lithowanderer spawns near the Bottom lane.
  • c) Invade enemy jungle (higher difficulty).

Mobile Legends - Jungling - Early game rotation (0:00-5:00 minutes)

Mid-game rotation (5:00-12:00 minutes)

  1. Focus on destroying enemy turrets.
  2. Secure the Turtle – Always try to get Turtle when possible because the extra gold, EXP and Turtle Buff are very useful for yourself and all allies.
  3. Prioritize ganking the lane near the Turtle spawn if the spawn timer has appeared. – The Turtle typically spawns near the EXP lane first. Once the turtle spawn timer has appeared, start heading towards the jungle area near the Turtle. Ping "gather" to alert allies to help in securing the Turtle.
  4. Invade the enemy jungle and prioritize taking the enemy jungle creeps over your own jungle. – This decreases the amount of gold and EXP the enemy can obtain, thus increasing the gap.
  5. Secure the first lord of the game.

Mobile Legends - Jungling - Mid-game rotation (5:00-12:00 minutes)

Late-game rotation (12:00 minutes+)

  1. Always be near the roamer or fighter – Roamer can help set up team fights. However, a quick follow-up is required.
  2. Do not roam alone – You can be easily picked off unless you are using mobile heroes like Fanny and Ling.
  3. Ensure all lords are contested – Unless there is a very large gold and level difference; if that is the case, try to defend the attack instead.
