Ragnarok Origin Global has answered the most-asked questions by players, from the details about the open beta test (OBT) to the gameplay experience.
In a Facebook post, Gravity Game Hub laid out all the responses to some of the players' most concerned questions about Ragnarok Origin Global, an upcoming MMORPG game. However, the game company noted that the following answers are not guaranteed to be the final solution. They may make adjustments based on their intention to optimize players' gameplay experience.
1. How many servers are on the first day of OBT of Ragnarok Origin Global?
Answer: We deeply understand that our players desire a world full of fellow adventurers, cities where merchants thrive, and friends to mischief and mayhem with. We are on exactly the same page about this matter! Because we, ourselves, are gamers, after all!
However, after reaching the CBT limit in less than 20 minutes and seeing the pre-registration number going up every second, we realized that we must do something about it; for the reason that we want no lags and no login queues to spoil your journey in Midgard! Therefore, we deployed enough servers for your arrival.
Also, to clarify: when Villager A, our developer representative, mentioned 100 servers in the event, he meant that we had prepared up to 100 servers. We are NOT going to open all of them simultaneously, though. And we promise to take serious consideration when opening up new ones.
You have every reason to be disappointed in us before we clarify this miscommunication. But now, we would like you to put your faith in our experience, confidence, and dedication to serving you, adventurers.
2. Will there be job balancing?
Answer: Balancing the performance of each class in both PvP and PvE is always one of our primary goals to improve your end-game experience. It is, however, a long-term task that requires our dedication and your support. To achieve that, we will constantly be collecting feedback from you, analyzing player statistics (class population, win/loss ratios, match histories, etc.), and then making adjustments we deem necessary and helpful. We also plan to open a Discord channel specifically for you and us to discuss the in-game classes. Together, we make ROO a better game!
3. Ragnarok Origin (ROO) Global Roadmap 2023
Answer: 2023 will be a splendid year for you and a challenging yet meaningful one for us! There is a series of significant updates on the way~ Here are some confirmed ones:
1. All 2-2 Jobs;
2. All 3rd Jobs;
3. 4 major leagues and on-ground e-sport tournaments;
4. The first ROO expansion — Nyan Realm (the name is yet to be decided);

4. Rebate Details
Answer: Your concerns have been noted by us, adventures. Please accept our belated apology for not clarifying the details of the CBT rebate event.
Rebate Ratio:
Please hear us out why the payment-to-score ratio isn't 1:1.
The payment standard of the rebate event was designed based on the exchange rate between USD and THB, which was and is still around 1:35, exactly the same in-game ratio. We didn't realize that the exchange rate between different currencies would cause you confusion. For that, we sincerely apologize.
Rebate Rules:
The purchase of any packs and weekly/monthly cards will also be counted toward your Nyan Berry Jar!
When the combined score of Nyan Berry Jar on all your characters from both servers is under 5,000, you will get 2 Nyan Berries per score.
When the combined score of Nyan Berry Jar on all your characters from both servers is above 5,000, you will get 1.5 Nyan Berries per score that exceeds 5,000.
Examples:
If the combined score is 3,000, then you will receive 6,000 Nyan Berries when Open Beta goes live. (3,000 * 2)
If the combined score is 7,000, then you will receive 13,000 Nyan Berries when Open Beta goes live. (5,000 * 2 + 2,000 * 1.5)
Rebate Method:
The Nyan Berry rebate will be delivered to the first character you create under the same account that you are currently using during the CBT.
Please note that the purpose of our CBT is to test the payment system, enhance server stability, and locate various bugs and issues. Players who participate in the CBT have been suffering bugs and unoptimized features, yet they still take their time to help us improve the game. So, the rebate is never served as a promotional tactic but purely as compensation for those who contribute.
5. Will players in other regions be able to top up freely since this is considered a global server?
Answer: Definitely, yes~
6. When is the final date for OBT?
Answer: The exact date is still to be announced. But if everything goes smoothly, the day will come sooner than most of you expect.
7. Will there be any special events for holidays or seasonal events?
Answer: Yes, of course. We'll have events specifically designed for the (Southeast Asia) SEA region. If you feel inspired, you are more than welcome to submit your suggestions regarding in-game or community events to our moderators and team members.
8. Is the drop rate F2P friendly?
Answer: Yes, the drop rate will be F2P (free-to-play) friendly. First, there will be Rate-Up events with a 300% increased chance; Second, we'll expand the reward of MVP event to the top 10 teams instead of just the rank 1 team.
9. Why do we need to play ROO? What makes it different from other Ragnarok?
Answer: First, we are the official sequel to RO; you can find our game on GGH's official site. 2nd, We offer effective and efficient customer services; 3rd, we have been and will always be listening to the voice of our community. 4th, we'll be presenting new events, game features, expansions, classes, game modes, etc., on a frequent basis; 5th, we'll hold on-gound e-sport tournaments constantly.
10. Can I get a girlfriend in ROO?
Answer: I found my GF in ROO, so...
11. Payment Methods
Answer: Yes, there will be more payment methods available in OBT.
12. Will there be tournaments like guild vs guild that will have cash prizes, or will there be likes of esports gaming tournaments?
Answer: Yes, there will be guild vs guild tournaments with cash prizes!
13. Will there be country-specific costumes?
Answer: Yes, there will be specific costumes. Many of them!
14. To the devs, are you guys going to have a catch-up mechanic for people who will play the game 2 to 3 months late? And also for people that will come back after they take a break for a long time.
Answer: Yes, there is an EXP boost feature that helps new and returning players to catch up with their levels. It increases players' EXP gain by a huge percentage as long as their level is lower than the server level.
15. Is there a chance that guild-to-guild events will take into a national tournament for all regions to gather up?
Answer: Yes, there will be cross-national tournaments!
16. When OBT is released, can you fix all bugs reported?
Answer: Yes, that's what we have been doing these days~
17. So, I heard the OBT will be delayed. Is that true?
Answer: Bug fixing goes smoothly. We cannot tell you the exact date now, but we can confirm that OBT will NOT be delayed.
18. Removing the pet system from the PVP system is a good idea.
Answer: We are planning to implement a new feature which will allow players to preset their builds and compete in absolutely fair fights. There will be no level, equipment, card, or pet advantages. The only things that matter in this new mode should be your skills, builds, team compositions, and teamwork. We'll announce more details once it is ready.
The free-to-play game "Ragnarok Origin" will be available on mobile and PC platforms. Interested players can pre-register for Ragnarok Origin Global via the game's official pages on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Huawei AppGallery, or OPPO App Market.
