Before you proceed with the procedure, here are some reminders:
- For existing GOMO subscribers
- Active GOMO users, prior to the start of SIM registration (December 27, 2022), are considered partially registered from the moment they create an account in the GOMO PH app. All you need to do is ensure your account information is correct and updated.
- For new GOMO users
- Even before the SIM registration started, GOMO required its customers to register and create an account to activate the SIM and access its services. New GOMO subscribers will continue to follow the same registration process through the GOMO app but will now be criminally liable for providing any false information.
Here are the steps to register your new GOMO SIM:
Step 1: Turn on your device's mobile data.
Step 2: Open the GOMO PH app on your Android or iOS device.
Step 3: Enter your GOMO mobile number and click the "Let's Go!" button.
Step 4: Tap the "Proceed" button. You will then receive a 6-digit OTP (one-time PIN) code in your inbox. Enter the OTP in the app for verification.
Step 5: On the account registration form, complete the fields to create your account. Input fields include Name, GOMO number, gender, email address, birthday, address, and type of government ID (along with ID number). After entering your information, tick the "I agree" checkbox and tap the "Create Account" button.
Step 6: You will be redirected to a page to set your 6-digit PIN. Besides your 6-digit PIN, for an easy and secure way to log in, you will be asked to enable biometrics (fingerprint sensor/face recognition).
