NetEase Games has announced the Spiritual Words event, bringing the new SSR Kotodama and various events with rewards. Check out the details below.
SSR Kotodama Summoning Event
Summon Period: April 26 – May 7 at 23:59 (EST)
Guaranteed SP/SSR Shikigami
During the event, if one does not get an SP/SSR shikigami after 59 summons, the 60th summon is guaranteed to be an SP/SSR shikigami. (The count resets if an SP/SSR is summoned.)
Stage Rewards
- For players who have completed the All SSR Collected achievement before the maintenance on April 26th, the initial chance for the SSR Kotodama is 15%. This chance will increase progressively if the SSR Kotodama is not received after summoning 449 shikigami. The 450th summon is guaranteed to grant the SSR Kotodama plus a surprise pack. This will use up this shikigami's Chance Up bonus.
- For other players, the initial chance for the SSR Kotodama is 4%. This chance will increase progressively if the SSR Kotodama is not received after summoning 799 shikigami. The 800th summon is guaranteed to grant the SSR Kotodama plus a surprise pack. This will use up this shikigami's Chance Up bonus.
- After reaching certain summoning milestones, Stage Rewards, including a handful of Mystery Amulets, Skill Daruma, Skin Tokens, Jade, SR Choices, and other rare items, can be claimed.
Special Stage Benefit
During the summoning event, players summon 40 times to receive 1 additional random SSR/SP shikigami (which doesn't count as being summoned; it doesn't affect "Achievements" calculation or summoning event calculation; the SP/SSR shikigami received comes from the current shikigami pool with equal chance; the benefit can be enjoyed only once).
Important Rules
- All SSR Collected is defined as having all SSR shikigami lit up in your Collection (excluding Ryomen).
- All SSR Collected does not include the limited-edition crossover SSR shikigami.
- Players who haven't reached Lv. 5 will not be able to enjoy the following benefit during the event when summoning shikigami: if an SP/SSR shikigami is not granted after summoning 59 shikigami in a row, the next shikigami summoned is guaranteed to be an SP/SSR.
But their summoning attempts made during the event are still counted towards the Stage Rewards, allowing them to claim the rewards and enjoy the benefits as soon as they reach Lv. 5 during the event.
The Spiritual Words Event

Level Requirement: Players of Lv. 15 or above can take part in the event.
Words Search
- Search for the scattered words in the Sea of Words and explore activities to solve puzzles and finish the Mural Text zone.
- The zone has seven chapters that unlock over time during the event.
- Zone available: April 26 – May 5 at 23:59 (EST)
Debating Hall
- Challenge Hitokotonushi or other players through matchmaking in Debating Hall.
- Play a new kind of duel in Debating Hall and collect Truth Gems to open Mantra Chests.
- Zone available: April 26 – May 2 at 23:59 (EST)
Tower Rush
- Players will receive an amount of Picker Pens daily for battling a plethora of anomalies in the toppled tower.
- Zone available: April 26 – May 2 at 23:59 (EST)
Collecting Words
- Complete daily quests and achievement quests in the event to gain Words EXP, which is used to increase the travel distance, and receive a Spiritual Words exclusive nameplate and a touch-responsive effect, among other rewards.
- The Expression Pass can be purchased to unlock the Spiritual Words theme, Skill Daruma shards, and a grade 5 Grade Daruma, among other rewards.

One Voice
- Event Duration: May 3 at 8:00 – May 5 at 23:59
- Event Rules:
- Onmyoji from the whole server will join forces and expose Hitokotonushi's lies to reduce his approval rating to 0%.
- Total damage dealt to Hitokotonushi in battles unlocks rewards.
- During the Hitokotonushi Challenge, the Evil God's Debate will be available from time to time. If the majority makes the right choice, the approval rating of Hitokotonushi will be reduced by 5% each time.
- After Hitokotonushi is defeated, the exclusive commemorative Wishful Words frame will be issued to all players.
Truth Shop
- Exchange Writing Amulets obtained from the event for rewards in the Truth Shop. Rewards include Hone Onna's new Dawning Elegy skin, a random SSR/SP Shikigami Summoning Scroll, a Skill Daruma, an event-exclusive frame, and illustrations, among other rewards.
- Shop available: April 26 – May 12 at 23:59 (EST)
SSR Kotodama Memory Scrolls Event
It's the words that manifest good and evil.
Event Duration: April 26 – May 16 at 23:59 (EST)
Event Details
During the event, you can obtain scroll shards by participating in different in-game activities. For every scroll shard donated, you will receive 1 random reward. After the memory scroll has been repaired, you can view the corresponding story.
Event Rewards
- Rewards will be given out to players according to their donation ranking.
- For those who rank in the top 500, they will receive SSR Kotodama shards.
- For those who rank in the top 1000 or whose repair contribution is above 2000, they will receive the Soulful Words frame.
- Once the memory scroll has been repaired, players can no longer receive shards or repairs.
Log in Bonus
Event Duration: May 1 - May 9 at 23:59 (EST)
Level Requirement: Players of Lv. 15 or above can take part in the event.
Event Details
During the event, log in every day and tap the Ema to get generous rewards. Rewards include Mystery Amulets, Skill daruma shards, and more.
Bonding Shrine Update
The world is beautiful for the words it has.
Update: The new SSR Kotodama is now available.
Bonding Shrine ends on May 7 at 23:59 (EST)
Reminder
