Globe has launched GFiber Prepaid, its prepaid fiber WiFi service, featuring reloadable unli internet, promo for as low as P299 for 7 days, and no lock-in.
According to Globe Telecom, GFiber Prepaid is a "revolutionary offering designed to bring fiber-speed internet to the ma-diskarteng Pinoys, with affordability and flexibility at the heart of its mission in a bid to provide equitable access to reliable connectivity."
Due to its prepaid nature and diverse plan options, GFiber Prepaid has the potential to considerably expand the Philippines' fiber market. It seeks to bridge the digital divide and enable economic growth and personal development, with a focus on the mass market.

GFiber Prepaid Features and Load Promos
GFiber Prepaid intends to democratize access to fiber connectivity by providing three key features:
- No Lock-In
- Unli Pay-Per-Use
- Buy Now, Pay Later options with GCash
The Buy Now, Pay Later feature of GCash allows subscribers to pay in up to 24-month installments or with a credit line of up to PHP 50,000.
Customers can apply for Globe's GFiber Prepaid for a special introductory price of PHP 1,499, which includes installation and seven days of unlimited internet access. Additionally, they can select from a variety of UNLIMITED on-demand promos:
- GFiberSURF299 for 7 days
- GFiberSURF549 for 15 days
- GFiberSURF999 for 30 days
Also, Globe has integrated a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) option via GCredit and GGives in partnership with GCash, making it simpler for customers to secure their fiber connection.
How to Apply for Globe GFiber Prepaid?
GFiber Prepaid application is easier and faster because you can do it all digitally through the GlobeOne app. You don't need to bring any extra documents.
Here are the steps to apply for Globe GFiber Prepaid:
- Download the GlobeOne app. Register for an account using your Globe/TM mobile number.
- Click the GFiber icon at the top-right corner of the dashboard and select GFiber Prepaid. On the GFiber page, click the "Apply now!" button and enter your complete address to check if the area is serviceable.
- If GFiber is available in your area, fill out the digital application form and choose the date of modem installation. No documents are required upon application. Just present a valid ID to the Globe At Home team on the day of installation.
- Pay your installation fee. You may pay through GCash, with GGives and GCredit accepted as modes of payment.
- Submit your application and wait for the Globe technician's home visit to install your GFiber Prepaid modem. Through the GlobeOne app, you may also track your technician.
GFiber Prepaid coverage will be available nationwide, subject to serviceability.
