Honkai Star Rail 1.3 Update is slated for release on August 30, 2023, HoYoverse announced. The latest Honkai Star Rail version 1.3 patch, titled "Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins," brings three new playable characters, including Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Fuxuan, and Lynx, a brand-new area, a Simulated Universe major update, as well as enhanced Trailblaze Power cap, allowing players to store surplus power. New Area: Aurum Alley
As the story went on, Jing Yuan and Dan Heng worked together to defeat Phantylia and end the situation at Ambrosial Arbor. Now that the dust has settled, the biggest part of the rebuilding work is to help people get their lives back on track. Aurum Alley is a new area that appears in Version 1.3. It is eagerly awaiting a much-needed renovation.
Players can shape the alley's destiny by employing strategic logistics planning and efficient cargo organization to restore its former grandeur.
Update for Simulated Universe
Tayzzyronth, the Aeon of Propagation, caused a swarm calamity a long time ago, for which "The Swarm Disaster" is named. In Honkai Star Rail 1.3 Update, Herta's renowned Simulated Universe receives a remarkable upgrade with the introduction of "The Swarm Disaster."
To unearth the complex history and conflict between Tayzzyronth and other Aeons, players will traverse through dynamically generated domains, face a variety of challenges along the way, and hopefully unlock the enthralling "Path of Propagation" within the Simulated Universe.
Three New Characters: Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Fuxuan, and Lynx
Additionally, the new update will include three new playable characters. Following the Path of Destruction, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae will join the playable cast as a five-star Imaginary-Type character, ultimately revealing his true power. The title "Imbibitor Lunae," passed down as part of the Vidyadhara high elder succession, once belonged to Dan Heng's previous incarnation, Dan Feng, a member of the High-Cloud Quintet who performed heroic deeds for Xianzhou during the war but tragically abused his power, resulting in a catastrophic disaster.
Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae demonstrates a unique talent on the battlefield by consuming multiple Skill Points to discharge potent abilities. Players can use this ability up to three times consecutively to enhance their basic attack. Depending on the number of triggered enhancements, the basic attacks will take on various forms. In addition, upon activating the Ultimate, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae deals Imaginary damage to a single target and adjacent opponents and gains a fixed quantity of Squama Sacrosancta to compensate for the loss of Skill Points.
Fu Xuan, another highly anticipated character from Xianzhou Luofu, will also join the roster of playable characters. Fu Xuan is a five-star, Quantum-Type character who follows the Path of Preservation. She possesses the mysterious omniscia on her forehead, an instrument that allows her to calculate every action in advance.
In combat, Fuxuan's skill sets grant a variety of effects, including damage reduction and health point reversal via her Talent, absorbing damage for her allies via her Skill, and unleashing Quantum damage on all foes via her Ultimate. As an ambitious woman who aspires to become a general, her personality and combat technique are distinct from those of Jing Yuan, but being a defensive pillar for her team is equally commendable.
Further, players will be able to recruit Lynx, a lovable member of the noble House Landau. She is a four-star personality with a natural curiosity for the outside world. As she grew older, Lynx became captivated by the centuries-old records depicting Jarilo-VI's vibrant history, her instructors' mesmerizing tales of beautiful auroras, and the heroic legends surrounding her Landau family. All of these enthralling tales were intricately intertwined with the world outside the city walls, an immense expanse known as the Snow Plains. Her inclination for solo exploration of the perilous Snow Plains has afforded her ample opportunities to refine her wilderness survival skills.
As a Quantum-Type character following the Path of Abundance, Lynx delivers a versatile array of healing abilities to her team during combat, making the intergalactic voyage a little easier for everyone.

Besides being available on PC, Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android, Honkai: Star Rail will introduce the space adventure to PlayStation 5 (PS5) in the fourth quarter of 2023. With cross-save and cross-play capabilities, players can more easily access their game progress across multiple platforms.
Version 1.3 of Honkai Star Rail is scheduled for release on August 30, 2023, and the game will be featured prominently at Gamescom 2023. The Opening Night Live livestream demonstration, live stage performances, and hands-on PS5 gameplay experiences will combine to create an all-encompassing and immersive entertainment extravaganza for attendees.
