Globe, most consistent broadband in 35 PH areas: Ookla Q3 2023

Globe was recognized as the Most Consistent Fixed Broadband Provider in 35 areas in the Philippines for Q3 2023, based on Ookla's analysis.

Notably, Globe Telecom has been named the Most Consistent Fixed Broadband Provider in 33 towns and cities, as well as two provinces across the country. This recognition is based on Ookla's analysis of Speedtest Intelligence data.

This is a step up from last quarter's achievement, where Globe claimed the top spot in 31 locations.

As per Ookla, Consistency refers to the percentage of a provider's data samples that meet minimum thresholds for both download and upload speeds. A high consistency score indicates better and more stable internet performance.

Among the impressive scores nationwide, Dangcagan, Bukidnon leads at 90.76, followed by San Luis, Pampanga at 90.55, and Mandaluyong, Metro Manila at 89.21.

Globe's benchmarking performance and methodologies have gained global industry trust, as confirmed by Ookla's findings.

According to Globe, it has strengthened and expanded its fixed wired solutions to meet customers' increasing need for stable connectivity.

As of 2022, Globe has deployed 3.7 million fiber-to-the-home lines, including 1.4 million in the past year. The telco is also transitioning fixed wireless and legacy technology customers to fiber connections.
