The Philippine Esports Organization (PeSO) has revealed its visionary plans for esports and Team Sibol and its future roadmap for 2024.

Team Sibol's Triumph in 2023: A Remarkable Victory on the Global Esports Stage
Team Sibol's talent and determination shone brightly at the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in May 2023, as they emerged victorious with a total of six medals. Their impressive haul included two golds (for MLBB and Wild Rift), one silver, and three bronzes, making them a force to be reckoned with in the esports world. Notably, Sibol made history by winning medals in all esports titles at the SEA Games, cementing their place as a dominant presence in the field.
The Mobile Legends team has once again demonstrated its dominance, securing its third consecutive gold medal and continuing to reign supreme in the world of esports. The International Esports Federation (IESF) 2023 saw further successes, with Sibol winning two medals - one gold and one silver. As the overall champions, Sibol's victories in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Tekken 7 events showed their global prowess.
In September 2023, the Philippines achieved the pinnacle of success by being crowned the Overall World Champion at IESF after competing against 111 other countries. The Grand World Esports Championship win of Sibol during the "Taon ng Tagumpay" event showcased the team's exceptional dedication and skill on the global stage.

PeSO's Astounding 2023: Unveiling New Headquarters and Securing International Recognition
July 2023 was a significant moment for PeSO as it inaugurated its new headquarters in Mandaluyong. This state-of-the-art facility serves as the hub for Team Sibol, providing advanced facilities for training and collaboration.
The International Esports Federation (IESF) honored PeSO with the title of National Federation of the Year 2023, continuing their accolades. PeSO's commitment to the development and promotion of esports has been recognized with their outperformance of 140 other countries.
Plans for 2024
In anticipation of the year 2024, PeSO is planning to construct an esports facility that can cater to various esports requirements, including training for Sibol athletes, hosting onsite events, and broadcasting. The organization has revealed that it has already developed the blueprint for the said facility and is currently in the process of finalizing the necessary procedures for its funding.
Moreover, PeSO is expanding its National Grassroots Programs (NGP) with a focus on Visayas and Mindanao. The organization recognizes the need to nurture talent at the grassroots level and aims to provide opportunities to players beyond traditional esports hubs. The plan is to target eight locations across Luzon, NCR, and VisMin to bring NGP initiatives to a wider audience. In partnership with various organizations, PeSO seeks to identify and nurture potential players through grassroots programs.
