Valorant developer Riot Games revealed the details for the VCT 2024 Pacific Kickoff tournament, including the format, teams, schedule, and streams.
VCT Pacific 2024 Overview
After an exhilarating first year, VCT Pacific is all set to return for an even more thrilling second year. This season of VCT Pacific promises to bring in higher stakes and more intense competition. Riot Games is excited to welcome Bleed Esports to the Pacific league after their impressive performance in VCT Ascension last year.

In 2024, there will be some significant changes in Valorant Champions Tour (VCT). VCT Pacific is one of four international leagues in the expanded VCT structure, which now includes VCT Americas, VCT EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and VCT CN (China). This year, VCT will have 3 global events for teams to qualify for, namely Masters Madrid, Masters Shanghai, and Champions. Teams can qualify for the global events through Kickoff, Stage 1 and 2. Additionally, a team can qualify for Champions through Championship Points, which they earn through consistent team performance throughout the entire season.

Apart from competing for a chance to qualify for global events, Pacific teams will also be vying for a massive prize pool of USD 250,000.
The upcoming VCT Pacific Kickoff will be the first major tournament of 2024 and the deciding factor for qualifying teams to participate in the VCT Masters Madrid. This high-stakes competition will span over 8 days and set the standard for excellence for the rest of the year.
VCT 2024 Pacific Kickoff Format
VCT 2024 Pacific Kickoff will be split into 3 phases. Teams will battle it out in a total of 19 matches over eight days.
The Group stage will follow a GSL format with 11 teams randomly seeded into 3 groups. As the Pacific Champions in 2023, PRX will be automatically seeded into Group C.
The Group stage is followed by Play-ins, which will be structured in a single round-robin format. The top 4 teams will then advance to the Playoffs and compete in a single elimination bracket.
The top two teams will secure a spot at Masters Madrid, the first global VCT event for the year.
VCT 2024 Pacific Kickoff Schedule
VCT Pacific Kickoff will start on February 17 and will run until February 25. Matches will start at the following times:
- Group stage (February 17 - 21)
- Matches on February 17, 19 and 21 will start from 15:00 KST // 14:00 GMT+8 (Philippine Time)
- Matches on February 18 and 20 will start from 17:00 KST // 16:00 GMT+8
- Play-ins (February 22): matches will start from 15:00 KST // 14:00 GMT+8
- Playoffs (February 24 - 25): matches will start from 17:00 KST // 16:00 GMT+8
