Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse's latest urban fantasy ARPG, has revealed a brand-new trailer at today's PlayStation State of Play livestream program and officially confirmed that it is in development for the PS5 console.
Prior to this announcement, this forthcoming title was also officially confirmed for PC, iOS, and Android platforms.
Developed by HoYoverse, Zenless Zone Zero (or ZZZ) is the global interactive entertainment brand's newest urban fantasy Action Role-Playing Game (ARPG). The game features a unique art style, dynamic music, and urban life gameplay. It also offers thrilling action combat that caters to both action veterans and newcomers.
The story of Zenless Zone Zero is set in a world where contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster called "Hollows." The last surviving urban civilization, New Eridu, has managed to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract essential resources out of the Hollows. Players will embark on an adventure as Proxies, who work alongside distinctive Agents to uncover the unknown mysteries behind New Eridu and the Hollows.
With the release of a brand-new trailer during the most recent PlayStation State of Play livestream, Zenless Zone Zero was confirmed to be arriving on the PS5 platform.
The 1-minute trailer presented the characters affiliated with Belobog Heavy Industries and Cunning Hares, in addition to the recently renovated urban setting of New Eridu. A series of thrilling confrontations ensued between Agents and opponents in the Hollows prior to Belle, one of the dual protagonists, navigating the Hollow Deep Dive System, which concluded the trailer.
In an effort to further explore the limits of action experiences and game design, the developers of Zenless Zone Zero are now equipped with the state-of-the-art hardware and technological prowess of PlayStation 5. This enables them to persist in the creation of a captivating virtual environment.
Proxies (or what Zenless Zone Zero calls to its players) will encounter an unprecedented level of immersion as they embark on an epic journey through New Eridu and engage in enthralling conflicts within the Hollow.
