Heads up, Hell Teacher Nube fans! The classic 90s manga will receive a new anime adaptation slated for 2025 release, REMOW announced. A hair-raising teaser trailer and visuals were also unveiled.

The manga, "Jigoku Sensei Nube," written by Sho Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano, was syndicated in Weekly Shonen Jump from August 1993 to May 1999, becoming one of the best-selling comics of all time with more than 29 million copies sold. Meanwhile, its anime TV series adaptation aired from April 1996 to August 1997, with 49 episodes in Japan. In the Philippines, the anime was dubbed in Tagalog/Filipino and broadcast on the GMA network's prime-time television block in 2000.

Now, with the official announcement from REMOW, "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" will air in 2025.

The story of this fan-favorite action comedy horror anime thriller based on Japanese mythology and folklore goes like this. Meisuke Nueno, aka "Nube," a psychic teacher with a demon hand, fights evil spirits and monsters to defend his students.

Nube's heroic efforts to save his pupils from otherworldly threats attracted readers throughout decades in school ghost stories and urban legends using occult and horror elements.

In conjunction with the thrilling new anime announcement, the REMOW team also revealed a first look at the series through an exclusive teaser visual and trailer.

In the teaser image, Nube is seen in a school hallway with a crystal ball in his hand, exposing his glove-covered monster hand. Mysterious children and eerie silhouettes are concealed within the crystal ball.

The teaser trailer depicts the ominous atmosphere of the school and corridors, as well as Nube's exorcism tools, such as the spirit crystal. The children's desperate cries for assistance are almost audible—it is a terrifying experience.
