Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Development League (MDL) Philippines announced its inaugural regional qualifier event across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. In partnership with Mineski Global, the regional tournament seeks to expand MDL PH's reach further to discover more local talents across the country to join the upcoming MDL PH Season 4.
According to MOONTON, the campaign, which is centered around the theme "Ang Unang Hakbang," is designed to assist aspiring MLBB players across the country in their initial steps toward the professional scene by organizing competitive amateur tournaments in key locations outside of Metro Manila.

The registration process will be implemented in each city through the official Facebook page of MDL PH. The first batch of registration for the MDL-PH Qualifier in Caloocan begins on July 22, 2024. The participating locations are listed below:

- July 28, 2024 - Caloocan - Phase 1 Covered Court Barangay 169 Brgy BF Homes
- August 3, 2024 - Bulacan - Victory Coliseum
- August 8-9, 2024 - Zamboanga Del Norte - Municipality of Polanco
- August 11, 2024 - Iloilo City - SM City Iloilo
- August 15, 2024 - Davao Del Norte - Panabo City
- August 17-18, 2024 - Cebu City - SM Seaside, Cebu
- August 18, 2024 - Bicol - Bicol College, Daraga, Albay
Participants must be citizens of the Philippines and above 14 years old in order to be eligible to participate in the qualifiers. To verify their identity, they will be required to submit appropriate documents.
The top two teams will advance to the MDL Philippines Season 4 regular season, which is set to start on August 27, 2024. Additional information regarding the MDL Philippines Season 4 will be disclosed soon.
