ASUS ROG Philippines has launched its latest Windows 11-powered handheld gaming device, ROG Ally X. Check out its specs, features, price, and availability below.
According to ASUS, ROG Ally X elevates portable gaming with "upgraded storage, RAM, and battery life." The latest version of the famous ROG Ally also features an improved chassis, cooling system, connectivity, and Armoury Crate SE 1.5 (customizable game library and a more unified interface), ensuring "an epic gaming experience for all users."

Improved Controls and Connectivity
A revamped chassis in a new black color, deeper grips, and a more rounded shape improve comfort without adding thickness to the ROG Ally X. Angles of buttons and sticks are more ergonomic, with the triggers slanted for easy pressing. The back macro buttons are smaller to reduce accidental pressing and make them accessible.
New modules with firmer springs and a 5-million-cycle lifespan provide the joysticks with a more recognizable response curve for seasoned controller gamers. An improved D-Pad provides more precise eight-direction input for fighting and vintage/retro games.
In response to user demand for universal I/O, the ROG Ally X offers two USB-C ports, one of which is Thunderbolt-compatible for broad interoperability with third-party docks and external graphics processing units (GPUs).
Better Cooling System
In order to accommodate the new battery, the ROG Ally X incorporates new fans that are 23 percent smaller in size but employ 50 percent thinner fan blades to enhance airflow. Two new tunnels in the fan housing direct air upward and outward toward an additional third exhaust vent located on the upper border of the handheld gaming console.
The new thermal solution of ROG Ally X increases the air volume that is moved through the device by 24 percent, resulting in a cooler touchscreen that is up to 6°C cooler, ensuring more comfortable long-term use. This solution also cools the internal components.
