NetEase Games announced a new whimsical life simulation game called Floatopia at the Gamescom Opening Night Live, which is set for release in 2025 for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox (Series X|S), Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile (Android and iOS) platforms globally.
According to NetEase Games, this free-to-play life simulation game lets players "live in a world of superpowers and whimsy, making friends and visiting islands floating in the sky."

Meanwhile, pre-registration for the game is also now available. If you want to pre-register, you can go to the official website (https://floatopia.game). Once the game goes live, you will receive various free rewards.
The following are pre-registration milestones and their respective rewards. As more players sign up for Floatopia, more rewards will be unlocked.
- 500K pre-registrations – Avatar Frame: "Daydream"
- 1 million pre-registrations – Bamboozle
- 2 million pre-registrations – Furniture: "Toy Seesaw"
- 5 million pre-registrations – Action: "Really Like You"
- 10 million pre-registrations – Costume: "Mushroom Picker"
- 20 million pre-registrations – Lucky Ticket x10 (These tickets can only be used for standard and pick-up draws.)
