Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero trailers showed major updates and new playable characters. Other announcements that delighted fans were the upcoming release of Genshin Impact on Xbox and Honkai: Star Rail's crossover with the famous anime series Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works.

Genshin Impact brings new content to Gamescom 2024 for the fourth year in a row. Its annual major expansion (with Version 5.0 update) will roll out on August 28. The free-to-play open-world adventure role-playing game (ARPG) launched in September 2020 for consoles, PC, and mobile devices explores an ever-changing environment.
The game's trailer brings players to Natlan, the sixth major nation in Genshin Impact, where warriors live a unique lifestyle and have unmatched agility and movement skills when exploring different landscapes and overcoming fierce opponents. The trailer concludes with the option to add the game to the Wishlist now on Xbox, which is scheduled for release on November 20, 2024.
Honkai: Star Rail, a space fantasy RPG released in April 2023, keeps Trailblazers engaged with its intricate melody of impacts and rewards. After the Penaconian holiday, Trailblazers attend the Wardance ceremony at the Xianzhou Luofu in Version 2.4.
The latest Gamescom trailer depicts Feixiao, The Xianzhou Yaoqing's Merlin's Claw, and one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals after the Xianzhou Odyssey. Trailblazers learn of her legendary strength, and the honest general descends from the sky to grace the battlefield. Archer's astonishing presence aboard the Astral Express Pom-Pom surprised the crew, revealing more about the intriguing partnership with the Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works anime. Additionally, this suggests a remarkable multiversal adventure ahead.
Zenless Zone Zero (or ZZZ) is HoYoverse's new urban fantasy ARPG. The game's vivid atmosphere and unique art style offer intense action combat and an immersive urban experience.
The trailer for Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.1 update features captivating characters. Featuring Jane Doe, an intriguing Agent who fights with devastating strikes, the teaser reveals her true identity and secret missions. The trailer ends with New Eridu's dismal outskirts. This new area will host the following chapter and unveil some mysterious Sons of Calydon characters.
HoYoverse at Gamescom 2024
Fans can participate in the "Travel Across HoYoverse" event at Booth C-031 in Hall 6 from August 21 to 25. Each game's area will provide various game modes and activities. They can also see cosplay parades and stage acts, win prizes, and obtain exclusive new merchandise.
