Enhanced Ban Pan
Li stressed PUBG Mobile's commitment to fair and safe gaming with its Ban Pan security system. He said PUBG Mobile has enhanced its ability to detect and counter in-game cheats, banning 9.05 million accounts, 5.05 million of which were banned before entering a match. This proactive approach has reduced in-game cheating reports by 40%, improving the gaming experience worldwide.
Moreover, cheat code sharing outside the game is the priority of the PUBG Mobile development team. The team eliminated cheat distribution content with over 25 million views and permanently banned 4,000 cheating live-streaming accounts, minimizing cheating content. The Investigator team has grown to 3 million qualified members, according to Li. This dedicated team reviewed 980,000 days of video footage from over 4 million matches and banned 1 million accounts to make PUBGM a fairer competitive environment.
Success of World of Wonder
In six years, PUBG Mobile has become the largest battle royale co-creation platform. World of Wonder (WOW) mode, where players may create their own maps and game elements, has excellent statistics, Li said.
Creators worldwide have created 2.5 million maps, played 18.4 billion times, and spent 2.82 million hours editing. Over 200,000 creators and 1.5 million submissions illustrate the community's ingenuity and passion in the Ptopia Design Project, a skin co-creation initiative.
Li also announced that PUBG Mobile will launch a map creation contest in World of Wonder with a USD 2 million prize pool and USD 1 million in creation incentives for the Ptopia Design Project, showing its commitment to supporting its creative community.
More Updates
PUBG Mobile is known for offering exciting new themes for its regular Version Updates, inspiring varied storylines based on regional cultures, and this trend indicates no signs of halting.
In September 2024, players can transform into werewolves or vampires and fight a gigantic vampire boss in a Victorian-style castle.
Further, the October 2024 update will take players to the Nordic ice fields to fight ancient giants.
In 2025, PUBG Mobile will introduce the ancient and enigmatic power of sand, drawing inspiration from Middle Eastern culture. Additional details will be revealed as the timeline approaches.
