Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 Update is slated for release on August 14, 2024, HoYoverse announced. The latest Zenless Zone Zero version 1.1 patch, titled "Undercover R&B," features a new challenge mode, Inferno Reap. All new Agents, story content, and reward events are also coming.

- A new chapter revolving around New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.) will unveil the complex story between Qingyi, Jane, Seth, and a mysterious gang called Mountain Lion.

- Besides narrative and playable character updates, players can enter the combat against Nineveh directly by experiencing Hollow Zero's new challenge mode, Inferno Reap. Meanwhile, New Eridu Public Security, located at Lumina Square, will also be open for players' exploration. With various in-game events as well as all the new content, players can expect numerous in-game rewards and more diverse and stylish game experiences from the updates.
Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 Update Overview
Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, and Seth will use their skills to attack the Mountain Lion Gang. The enigmatic Jane helps these criminals evade arrest every time. Players can explore New Eridu, accomplish commissions as Jane, and discover her complex relationship with N.E.P.S..
When players are familiar with N.E.P.S., Qingyi can join their squads. Qingyi, an S-Rank Electric Stun character that may fit in different teams, can instantly stun enemies with Daze. Her attack causes electric damage, but she may build up "Flash Connect Voltage," which unleashes a tremendous attack. Qingyi, Zhu Yuan's trusted N.E.P.S. companion, can also help him fight.
Jane, a key character in version 1.1, will interact with the player in both friendly and hostile ways. Jane, an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent, may trigger a "Passion State" by generating Passion Stream, unleashing quick, multi-stage, and devastating strikes swiftly inflicting Attribute Anomaly on opponents. Due to her importance to the Mountain Lion Gang, players will fight Jane before she joins their squads. She is agile in combat, but you may not feel the same when hit.
In addition to two S-Rank characters, A-Rank Electric Defense character Seth joins the roster. Seth can wield his shield to buff teammates and defeat opponents with a huge sword. Moreover, the new S-Rank Bangboo "Officer Cui" can help players in the Hollows.
Besides Shiyu Defense updates, Zenless Zone Zero is adding "Inferno Reap" mode to Hollow Zero. Players can face off Nineveh in a timed battle after finishing the "Withering Garden" stage and commissions. You can repeat this new challenge mode as many times as possible. Successful challenges award many in-game rewards.
Meanwhile, Proxies can earn Polychromes, A-level W-engine, and other materials by fulfilling event commissions in Version 1.1's "Camellia Golden Week" event. Players will also experience new in-game events and features like Immersive Tactical Drill, First-Class Customer Service, and updated camera function with filters and selfie options.
The release date of the Zenless Zone Zero 1.1 update is August 14, 2024, featuring the new challenge mode Inferno Reap. The urban fantasy ARPG is available on various platforms: PS5, PC, iOS, and Android.
