Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 Update is slated for release on September 25, 2024, HoYoverse announced. The latest Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) version 1.2 patch, "Tour de Inferno," features the Outer Ring zone along with new content updates and optimizations. New banners and events with rewards have also been announced.
Here are the features of Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.2 Patch Update:
- Players will further expand their journey in New Eridu to the desolate suburbs known as Outer Ring while riding with characters such as Caesar and Burnice from Sons of Calydon.
- A brand-new minigame called Bizarre Brigade at Godfinger and various events (including Overlord's Feast) will offer players more entertaining ways to revel in the game.
- With optimizations for the TV board, team presets, and the time and stamina system, Zenless Zone Zero aims to continuously improve its game experience for Proxies.

Version 1.2 Update Overview
In the story's next chapter, the main stage will be the Outer Ring, an undeveloped area outside downtown New Eridu. This area is rich in fuel resources, which sometimes causes tensions and competition among different groups. In Version 1.2, Proxies will team up with Caesar, Burnice, and other members from the Sons of Calydon to face off against their rivals, The Vanquishers and Overlord Pompey. In this new version, players will also have the opportunity to explore New Eridu as Caesar and Burnice.
The Sons of Calydon is a faction in the Outer Ring that runs a logistics company called "Leaps and Bounds" and moves resources through Hollows.
Caesar, the leader of the Sons of Calydon, is an S-Rank Physical Defense Agent. She can provide allies with a shield buff and deal significant damage with her shield. She can also debuff enemies when Perfect Block or Defensive Assist is triggered.
Another new character, Burnice, is an S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent who can inflict a remarkable amount of Fire DMG and quickly accumulate Anomaly Buildup to Burn enemies with two flamethrowers.
Additionally, the Sons of Calydon's S-Rank Bangboo Red Moccus is eager to join the combat with a personalized Bangboo motorcycle.
Meanwhile, Bizarre Brigade, a time-limited survival shooting arcade game, will be available at Godfinger. In this roguelike game, players can unlock different characters as they progress and use them to complete challenges. Additionally, players can practice combat skills with characters from various factions, level up their Agents faster, and obtain rewards through a new gameplay called Investigator Training Course at HIA.
Moreover, Zenless Zone Zero will make several improvements to the game mechanics and features in Version 1.2 to provide players with a better experience. After exploring the TV board for the first time, players will be able to automatically collect all Observation Data and rewards with the help of FAIRY. The presentation of the TV board, including specific animations, will be enhanced and speeded up. In the new Chapter 4, players will experience the story and combat more directly and consistently. Additionally, players can preset their combat lineups in advance and adjust the time as needed. A Backup Battery Charge will also be provided to give them more stamina in the game.
The release date of the Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 update is September 25, 2024, featuring the new Outer Ring zone. The urban fantasy ARPG is available on various devices: PC, PS5, iOS, and Android.
